Opportunity Data publishes its statistical infrastructure free: the Workforce Pell decision-support framework, the AI Exposure Index, and postsecondary earnings data, each with the datasets behind it and a method you can check. Paid products add what the free layer does not hold: back editions, state-level reports, and institution-specific reviews.
Each component turns a public dataset into an answer you can act on and cite, free to use. The facts under each one say who it serves, what data it holds, what you can do with it, what you can download, how often it is updated, and which products relate to it. Components marked Beta are in active development.
The open CSV files behind the analyses. Each file matches its page and methodology note and carries a suggested citation, ready to copy.
Replication files for individual analyses sit on their pages: Where Short-Term Credentials Lead (state, field, and benchmark tables), the California list analysis (the wage join and the earnings-test file), Underemployment by Field (sensitivity checks), and CCB vs. Traditional BA (reproducibility workbook). More datasets are published as analyses ship.
Pre-built reports from $19 extend the free infrastructure: card payment, instant download, and twelve months of refreshed editions. Each has a free sample that is the exact file. Buying one does not shape what the free pages say: public findings stay editorially independent.
Every weekly edition of the State Implementation Record’s This-week panel since August 2026, each item dated to the sweep that first published it and verified against a primary source, updated after every sweep for a year. One private link per organization. The current week stays free on the record.
A four-page report for any state: all 61 occupations in the nuclear plant staffing taxonomy with the state’s 2023-24 sub-baccalaureate completions and institutions, the ten institutions ranked by trades and technical completions, and the gaps. The free Nebraska sample is the exact file.
Every short program on a state Eligible Training Provider List that fits the Workforce Pell length window, tested against the 70 percent completion and second-quarter employment standards: programs that meet both, near misses with the additional completers or employed students needed, providers, and field benchmarks. 36 state reports and 184 college reports. The free Wisconsin sample is the exact file.
Several states, several colleges, or an invoice: info@opportunitydata.org.
The reports use public data only. When the question needs your own program list, programs not in the public record, a named analyst, or a board deadline, the work is quoted at fixed fees.
Opportunity Data is building the next layer of products on the same infrastructure. Nothing in this list is available yet, and nothing here is for sale. The list is published so that readers who need one of these can say so, and so the first versions are built around real requests.
No purchase and no commitment. A short note tells us which product to build first and what it has to do.
High-stakes decisions need numbers that hold up. Every figure here traces to a named public source and a published method, so it survives a board packet, a state approval file, or a peer review.
Graduate earnings come from tax records, not self-reported surveys.Census Bureau earnings outcomes, BLS wage and employment data, O*NET work characteristics, and New York Fed and IPEDS outcomes for recent graduates.
